Certus provided litigation support services in the form of construction document review and analysis, specifically to determine standard of care related to the construction of a new apartment complex in Southern California. The plaintiff alleged that the structural engineer of record was responsible for construction delays and eventual contract termination related to review times associated with requests for information, submittal review and correspondence. Additional allegations about construction quality were also posed by the plaintiff. The plaintiff withdrew their expert prior to deposition, whereby Certus ceased support services.
